When it comes to starting a website there are efficient ways of doing it. The most economical is to use open-source software. Open source software such as an operating system. Most popular open-source operating system is Linux. Then if you need a database there is mySQL. There are many other pieces of the website puzzle that can be done with open-source software. The website itself may need a content management system. WordPress is the most popular content management system that is open source. As you know open source means it is all free. If you need support you would probably pay for a package for support. However when you are creating your own site if you host it somewhere else you do not have to worry about these things.

Once you have the site operating system in a database set up in a content management system you can add functionality. You can modify a content management system is a unique appearance. Word press calls from teams. There many things you can buy some that are free. So you may want at a photo album. It’s a building one you can simply use open-source one. You may want to add chat. However I caution you against you because of his intensive on the server. You may want to add the ability for others to subscribe to your site via e-mail or RSS. If you are using a content management system like WordPress these are called plug-ins and are typically free. There are hundreds if not thousands of plug-ins. So the biggest issue is whether or not you want to maintain office. Up to this point everything we discussed is free. However you now have to put it on a server. Do I buy a server for couple hundred dollars or maybe thousand? You want to have to obtain Internet connectivity? Those things not only cost money but they also cost time. But what if you could get your website and hosting for $50 a year. Now you got a great deal. All you need to do is get a domain name and hosting. You can use a GoDaddy coupon to get a domain name at a discount, you can also use that same Go Daddy coupon to obtain hosting as well as domain for less than $50 a year. They do not have to buy the server nor set up anything. And if there is an issue you do not have to worry about because Go Daddy takes care of it for you.

Now comes the domain names you do not want to get only one. Or a couple things you want to do. First of all you get your own top level domain as a.com. The matter what anyone tells you just look at search results and you’ll see that most sites are you.com. You want to pick a domain name you can also get the.net version of in some of the other most popular extensions. Popular extensions such as.US. You may also want to get foreign extensions on a domain in case you want to move into a foreign site. Now the second thing that is very important is that you obtain Ms. spellings of your domain name. In other words if someone remembers your domain but spelled it wrong wherever they go. If you bought a domain name you can point at your site and they will not know the difference.

To make sure that not only you make a smart decision on the hosting you also make smart decision on your domain names what Dr. Brent.

Sometimes certain statistics do not make any sense. For instance does not make any sense for me to pick a Web hosting provider based on which of the companies is the largest. Largest meaning they have the most websites. It may just be that they are good at marketing where they provide an excellent price. They also be that certain people by many sites from them and most people would not buy any. What I really care about is customer service. More often than not I’ll I care about of time

sometimes you are lucky and you are able to get the best of both worlds. The best of both worlds means that you have the largest Web hosting company around. It also means that you use a company like godaddy hosting who provide superior uptime and great customer service. Now you have the best of both worlds and you get everything you want the best uptime and the best customer service. This is what you really need is what you really want. Honestly is what we all want. Keep our site up.

A company called CITRIX owns goto meeting which is the software for online meetings. However they have a lot more than that. One of their most popular may be considered their delivery center. Which is a dynamic virtualization system that transforms your desktop into an on-demand service so you can work securely from anywhere. In other words get into your computer from anywhere. Also it helps IT groups because of their application delivery.

In other words let’s say that you have 30 people at an office and you have multiple offices with even more people across the United States. Your IT group has to manage every desktop. Particularly if you have sales people on the road they may have issues all the time but they will be hard to diagnose when the salesperson doesn’t know how the computer runs and you don’t even know what version of which software they have running.

By using the remote delivery application you can see what they have running install anything they may need. Their desktop management is impressive and can reduce your IT operation costs in a big way.
