Here are our two favorites.

hp mini

Here is the HP Mini 1000. Stats are impressive, a 10.2″ 1024×600 Display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom, 8GB or 16GB SSD, 1 GB RAM and more.

eee pc

The Asus Eee PC 1000H, a little heavy but a nice machine. There are customizable buttons to quicly launch programs, part of the reason you buy a mini is the ease of use and spead of getting to what you want. This unit does a nice job, heavier and larger than the HP but a nice unit.
