I have to say that Linux is now my favorite operating system it let me tell you why. Mainly because I now use Linux everywhere. And what I mean is that in the past I just used it for my website. But recently with my boys I decided to buy multiple computers at each would have one. Instead of buying brand-new expensive computers I bought a couple use computers.

I then went ahead and installed Linux on every single one. So not only do I use that operating system on my GoDaddy hosting accounts instead of a Windows system but I now use it on all the home computers. Is interesting because in the past I would always use the command line to issue commands because it was a server that I would create a secure connection to them and talk to from a distance. But now I am using the interface which is a graphical interface I find it to be really simple and easy use.

I think is a great idea and everyone should consider it for their home computers because the operating system is free. There is even something called open office which works just like Excel word and PowerPoint. You can even open does applications and it is free also. The browser is amazing because you can use Firefox or another one into give you everything you need you can access the Internet create documents with whatever you would like.

When talking about open source software is interesting to think that you can use your own blog which in many ways is closed because many people don’t know about it, or have another idea. The social sites have a community around them of individuals, anyone who wants ago, and that would be the best place to talk about open source software.

To really get the message out you would want to create a page on those sites. Take a look at this page for a GoDaddy promo code which was created just like any other page on the site using their tools so it is very simple and very fast. Now when you create a post on your own site about software no one except your followers will know it even exists but if you create on the social site like this they are indexed in all the search engine can have already a well built up audience great she might as well take it to the masses. It is fitting that if we’re going to talk about open source software that we actually use an open-source community which is how I see social networks.
